Location is great, underground station is very close. The staff were helpful. The apartment met our expectations. The apartment was clean, great value for your money.

The bed in the bedroom was comfortable, but unfortunately the couch in the living room was not so great, I definitely would recommend to replace that.

Windows we're not very thick. Could hear everything outside and could hear the tube constantly. We were on first floor. Could do with more sound proofing

Grumpy reception staff verging on rude. Had to change room as the bed was broken. Had to request that the bed in the room room was made up. Reception staff didn’t seem to have a clue what was going on.. not a great first impression.

Great location, in walking distance from St. Paul and the Tate Modern. Very quiet room

No USB plugs in the room but only UK plugs for which you'll need an adapter

You can hear the tube noise all day and all night. If you are a light sleeper like me, I wouldn’t suggest staying here. I had a terrible nights sleep.

Great position with three metro stations within a 5 mins walk radius. Reasonably large and comfortable bathroom. The living room was large enough to accomodate the open sofa/bed, the table to have breakfast/dinner for 4 and a fully equipped kitchen.

The mattress of the sofa was awful. Despite travelling with two young and "light" kids, they had problems with the too thin mattress.

Train noises were particularly bad.

- Near to the underground station "tube station". - specious size apartment "which makes it good for group of students".

Oh, where to start ? 1- 200 GBP as guarantee from the credit card is too much , specially that they don't give you receipt or e-mail notification with the amount !!! and upon check out and after it , they never tell you if they will refund you the whole amount or not and why and within how long?! it's just chaos! 2- The morning shift receptionist obviously hates her job and hates the guests , she looked so bored of my questions and she almost didn't look at me at all while she was answering me ! however the night shift guys were nice, helpful and responsive. 3- The third and the most important issue is the hygiene ! I'm healthcare professional who's working in the healthcare system for more than 10 years , and I'm assuring everyone that the flat is not healthy to live in , the bathroom smells so bad , you can see the mold and you can smell it , the flat doesn't have any ventilation system and doesn't have proper aeration . 4- Definitely not for families , may be for young college or school students it can be ok. 5- I have been to more than 60 resort, hotel and hotel apartments in my life , this one is defently the least organized, the least appealing with the least cleanliness I've stayed on.

The apartment was very spacious and location was great!

Just small details but would have been nice to have some essential things to cook as oil and salt and soap to clean (and colander for pasta!). But everything was perfect otherwise!

24 hour desk clerk. Superb, superb location. Queen St. is a few minutes walk from 3 subway stations. Easy subway ride to theater district. A few minutes walk from Southwark bridge - on the other side is Borough Market, an outdoor market with great vegetables, meats and cheeses. Also 10 minute walk from Globe theater and Tate Modern art museum. Nearby Tesco grocery and lots of restaurants. Full kitchen with washer/dryer. Great water pressure for shower and plenty of hot water. Easy to adjust electric wall heaters to warm the apartment. Nice linens. Kitchen - 4 burner electric stove, full size refrigerator and oven and microwave.

Kitchen - barely adequate dishes and silverware. Only had a serrated knife. Had to ask for small paring knife. No vegetable peeler. If you intend to really cook suggest you bring vegetable peeler, small scissor and a good knife. They did not provide hand dishwashing soap and a scrubbing pad although they did provide tablets for the dishwasher. They provided only one dish towel and refused to give us more. No wash cloths. Lighting in bathroom not adequate for make-up application. Most importantly - NO safe in room, No safe at the desk. Had to carry our valuables everywhere with us.

Well the fact that my deposit was kept which was 200 pound plus late check out 60 pound am 160 for the night that’s 420 pound for a night before Christmas! An this was taken for a coke stain on the bed an a towel in the bin an a little mess ! Not one bit of damage

It was a wonderful space that was very well laid out. It was very comfort and easy to make yourself at home.

Having a TV in the bedroom would have been nice.

Marlin Apartments Queen Street is one of the best solutions for families, expecially if you want your small apartment and don't be dependent from hotel hours and routine. The room has a very well furnished kitchen. Staff was extremely kind and solved a problem with the boiler in a very short time. Position is fantastic because very near to subway and DLR stops ( very convenient if you arrive at the London City Airport).

The only thing they need to improve is the cleanliness of the room. I know that this depends heavily on the general behaviour of the previous guest but a thorough survey and service will avoid to find, for example, the dishwasher as we did.

-Loud trains from surrounding underground and overground - get floors above 3rd, higher the better -Tv could be of higher quality

Very good location, good facilities in the room.

When I arrived, around 13:00, there was no one at the reception, I couldn't enter the lobby and it was freezing cold outside. I had to wait for 7-8 minutes with the luggage outside before I could enter. When I left, around 8:00 and wanted to check-out, same thing! at least this time I could wait inside. There is no public toilet so can't use prior to actual check-in and after check-out, which is a little inconvenient if you want to refresh or change cloths before flight.

Location was great of course. Apartment easily met expectations providing a far better experience to a typical hotel room in the area. Sounds minor but we appreciate being able to open windows.

Although there was nothing wrong with the bathroom it could do with modernising The foyer and stairs had a distinct smell of cigarettes but it didn't permeate to the hallways or apartment itself. The gentleman at reception was efficient, helpful and perfectly pleasant but he could benefit from polishing his general appearance, a clean suit and ironed shirt goes a long way in setting impressions and presenting an attention to detail.

Location excellent. Every convenience close by. 24 hr reception, excellent staff, comfort, everything was clean and worked fine. We cooking Christmas lunch in the oven( a little noisy) but kitchen fully functional. Comfortable huge bed, good hot shower( yes it’s a bit high to climb over side of bath to shower ). Unusual faint odour of the building at times, not offensive or dirty just noticeable.
